# (Senior) Short-Term Analyst / Flex Analyst (f/m/d) E.ON Energy Markets GmbH | Permanent | Full time; Part time **Your tasks** * Conduct ad-hoc market analysis and provide daily Spot forecasts * Carry out market coupling analysis before and after spot; determine impact on Intraday Trading and aFRR/PICASSO for Battery Portfolio * Provide trading ideas for Short-term and prompt Power and Gas markets * Identify and highlight trends and market developments to support commercial decision making on portfolio flex * Create and further enhance tools and models jointly with other Stakeholders * Develop efficient relationships with peer analysts and traders across multiple teams and locations * Act as an interface between Trading, Asset Management and IT Experts * Internal and external Stakeholder Management with regards to Flex Projects * Design and continuously improve Algo Trading strategies **Your profile** * University degree in economics, finance, physics, engineering or a comparable subject. * Excellent understanding of the German Day Ahead, Intraday and ancillary service markets * Experience in asset optimization, renewables trading and a deep understanding of physical spot markets * Combined experience of power and gas trading is of advantage * Highly entrepreneurial individual with proven track record in P&L contribution. * Self-motivated, hands-on mentality, strong technical and quantitative skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders * Experience with 365 day/year and 24/7 shift operation is of advantage * Willingness to travel and steer a Munich based trading operation * Fluency in English and German is required **E.ON is united in working on the most exciting issue that our generation needs to solve climate change!
