•Analyze and co-create specifications and requirements
•Create concepts and proofs of concept for image processing hardware and software systems
•Develop, integrate, and qualify systems in collaboration with adjacent departments and other development sites
•Support quality assurance methods, documentation, and production transfer as needed
•Stay updated on the latest technological developments and collaborate with scientific partners
•Improve and maintain the optics lab
•Serve as a technical interface and provide 3rd-level support for customers, production sites, and suppliers
