# Senior User Experience Design Specialist (f/m/d)
**What you’ll do:**
As a (Senior) UX Designer (f/m/d) in the SAP Build Product Suite team, you will
* Discover and Design User-Centric Experiences: Own and drive your design work end-to-end, including discovery, wireframing, and rapid iterations of user interfaces. Ensure that they are intuitive, engaging, and aligned with both user needs and business goals.
* Embody a Leadership Mindset: Demonstrate strategic thinking, clear communication, and the ability to inspire and guide peers by taking initiative, providing constructive feedback, and influencing design decisions across the team.
* Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Actively partner with user assistance writers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders as one empowered product team, exchanging feedback on interaction design, content, visual aesthetics, usability and technical feasibility.
* Collect and Analyse User Data: Engage with users to gather feedback, perform usability testing, and analyse behavioural data to identify issues and iteratively refine your designs.
* Manage Design Debt: Regularly audit and review the product, take ownership of design inconsistencies and accessibility, and proactively address and solve deviations to ensure evolving product standards remain high.
* Champion Best Practices and Influence Strategy: Proactively implement and advocate for design standards and best practices across the product. Partner with our researchers and bring strategic insights to discussions that shape the product vision and roadmap.
**What you bring:**
* At least 5 years of proven experience designing complex software products, with a strong background in user interaction design for enterprise software.
* Exceptional design and prototyping skills focused on clarity, consistency, and user-centric solutions.
* Excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to influence design strategy and inspire others by mentoring peers, facilitating design discussions, and championing innovative ideas across teams.
* Experience planning and executing user research, managing rapid design iterations, and using data-driven insights to refine and optimize user experiences.
* Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma), a strong grasp of design systems, and an understanding of technical aspects in product development.
* A genuine passion for user experience and advocacy, complemented by a leadership mindset that drives continuous improvement and creative problem solving.
* Fluency in spoken and written English.
