Senior Software-Oriented System Engineer(m/w/x)

In this role, you will define software requirements and ensure compliance with aerospace standards while collaborating with various teams. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing documentation, conducting trade studies, and supporting software validation efforts.

Anforderungen

• •Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
• •3+ years of experience in software systems engineering, preferably in aerospace or defense
• •Strong understanding of embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and communication protocols
• •Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion, JAMA) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• •Experience with UAS platforms or avionics software
• •Several years of relevant professional experience in the field of system development (in unmanned systems)
• •Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• •Enjoyment of working together in a team
• •Knowledge of DO-178C and DO-330 processes for airborne software
• •Experience with C/C++, Python, and scripting for automation
• •Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and release management
• •Familiarity with data links and secure communication protocols (e.g., Link 16)
• •Experience in the field of simulation (HiL/SiL) and sensor technology (active and passive), incl. integration into platforms (via SDK/API)
• •Experience in the field of link systems, including integration into platforms
• •Understanding cybersecurity requirements for airborne systems
