Anforderungen

  • •5+ years of professional experience in agile software development
  • •Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
  • •Experience with Containers and Kubernetes or similar technologies
  • •Solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectural patterns
  • •Advocate of Clean Code and the DevOps culture
  • •Experience with cloud-native development technologies and practices
  • •Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS or similar cloud computing platforms
  • •Fluency in English is mandatory, Fluency in German would be a big advantage
  • •Positive and solution-oriented mindset
  • •Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills
  • •Great communicator that can easily explain ideas and engage people

  • •Partner with Software Architects, Tech Leaders, and Product Managers to analyze and transform business requirements into software specifications
  • •Design and develop scalable, secure, and low-latency RESTful APIs for the platform
  • •Contribute to the design of distributed, cloud-native application components for resilience and operational excellence
  • •Participate in architecture decisions and contribute to technical strategies
  • •Build, operate, and improve infrastructure and platform services using DevOps and GitOps principles
  • •Collaborate in agile, cross-functional teams and engage in knowledge sharing and mentoring
  • •Design, implement, and optimize search pipelines for full-text indexing, retrieval, ranking, and faceting
  • •Develop vector-based semantic search using techniques like HNSW, IVF, and hybrid fusion
  • •Own the architecture and lifecycle of search indexes across various modalities
  • •Optimize and tune search engines and vector databases such as Elasticsearch/OpenSearch and Pinecone
  • •Enhance system-level performance, including indexing throughput and query latency
  • •Design hybrid retrieval strategies combining BM25/TF-IDF with vector similarity
  • •Implement monitoring and observability for search systems, focusing on relevancy metrics and anomaly tracking
