Anforderungen
- •Enthusiastic and skilled scientist
- •Background in X-ray imaging and synchrotron research
- •Enjoyment of technical and experimental work
- •Collaborative project management skills
- •PhD in Physics, Materials Science, or Engineering
- •Experience at synchrotron imaging beamlines
- •Understanding of beamline instrumentation and imaging
- •Experience in X-ray microscopy or tomography
- •Experience developing or commissioning experimental setups
- •Excellent command of English
- •Desirable familiarity with data analysis methods
- •Ideally experience in project management
- •Motivation for collaborative research and innovation
- •Good Python programming skills
- •Good command of German

Deine Aufgaben
- •Optimize advanced X-ray imaging techniques
- •Manage hierarchical imaging and serial tomography
- •Ensure reliable beamline and hardware operation
- •Maintain beamline control and acquisition software
- •Prepare HIKA for PETRA IV upgrades
- •Plan and develop the PB32 beamline
- •Provide expert user support for experiments
- •Assist users with complex data processing
- •Plan budgets, resources, and investments
- •Maintain high workplace safety standards
- •Collaborate with KIT and DESY teams
- •Contribute to scientific publications and funding
- •Represent HIKA at conferences and meetings
