- •Completed doctoral/PhD studies in Geography
- •Research competence and initiative proven through international publications
- •Experience in research management and leading project staff
- •Track record of acquired third party funding
- •Didactic skills and experience teaching classes on Master’s and Bachelor’s level
- •Excellent knowledge of English; German skills are a plus
- •Team player and high social/communicative skills

- •Support program directors in course integration
- •Conduct professional outreach activities
- •Serve as a central contact for spatial sustainability and digital transformations
- •Develop and implement a science communication strategy
- •Teach as required by the university's collective bargaining agreement
