In this role, you will lead the development of an interdisciplinary research strategy focused on spatial sustainability and digital transformations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating research activities, managing proposals, and enhancing teaching integration, while also engaging in outreach and communication efforts.

Anforderungen

  • •Completed doctoral/PhD studies in Geography
  • •Research competence and initiative proven through international publications
  • •Experience in research management and leading project staff
  • •Track record of acquired third party funding
  • •Didactic skills and experience teaching classes on Master’s and Bachelor’s level
  • •Excellent knowledge of English; German skills are a plus
  • •Team player and high social/communicative skills

  • •Mobilize expertise for strategy development
  • •Coordinate cross-group research activities
  • •Contribute to interdisciplinary projects
  • •Manage large interdisciplinary research proposals
  • •Integrate teaching across courses and programs
  • •Support program directors in course integration
  • •Conduct professional outreach activities
  • •Serve as a central contact for spatial sustainability and digital transformations
  • •Develop and implement a science communication strategy
  • •Teach as required by the university's collective bargaining agreement
