Senior Research Engineer – Photonic Integrated Circuit PDK development(m/w/x)

In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing Photonic Integrated Circuit Process Design Kits. You will collaborate with a diverse team to ensure seamless updates and compatibility across platforms while contributing to project management and scientific publications.

Anforderungen

• •PhD or MSc with equivalent work experience in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Applied Physics, or related field
• •Hands-on experience in photonic component development, PIC design, layout, and characterization
• •Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages
• •Familiarity with PIC-related EDA tools and collaborative environments, e.g., Git
• •Self-motivation, organization, and enthusiasm for dynamic, multicultural team work
• •Strong team player with excellent interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• •Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• •Experience in project management is a plus
