Anforderungen
- •PhD in a relevant field
- •Hands-on experience with thin-film deposition
- •Experience with wide-bandgap materials and piezoelectric materials
- •Hands-on experience with structural, electrical, and functional characterization
- •Experience with 200 mm wafer processing
- •Ability to run experiments and analyze data
- •Strong documentation and reporting discipline
- •Good collaboration record with internal teams and industrial partners
- •High interest in applied research on advanced functional WBG materials
- •Cleanroom experience and willingness to work in cleanroom
- •Experience with successful funding applications
- •Solid skills in standard office tools and data analysis software
- •Very good command of English; German is an asset
- •Experience working in multicultural and multinational teams
- •Respectful and empathetic team player with strong communication skills
- •Willingness to relocate to Villach, Austria

Deine Aufgaben
- •Develop thin films for piezoelectric and wide-band-gap applications
- •Design and execute experiments to optimize nitride thin film materials
- •Characterize structural and functional properties of deposited thin films
- •Collaborate with design, fabrication, and engineering teams to enhance process flow
- •Define strategies for material optimization and conduct relevant investigations
- •Develop strategies for novel material properties and applications
- •Contribute to standardization of procedures and workflows within the Unit
- •File IP disclosures when appropriate
- •Contribute to scientific dissemination through publications and presentations
- •Support Unit workflows, project acquisition, and project management
