Senior Quality Assurance Engineer/QA Architect(m/w/x)

We are convinced, that various central banks will introduce a digital version of their currency, a so-called Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) like the digital Euro in the coming years. This will create an entirely new market for products and services that fit perfectly with Giesecke+Devrient's product portfolio. It especially requires and outstanding team to deliver a disruptive innovation of that magnitude. For this, we have set-up a team as an independent start-up within G+D advance52 GmbH that has a clear mission for growth and to create a substantial product business. The quality, across all levels, of such a CBDC ecosystem is of paramount importance. To help us continue achieving the highest levels of quality, in both the functional and non-functional domains of our CBDC product portfolio, we are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Architect (m/f/d). The challenges in this context are big, but so is our motivation and desire to succeed. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Product Development and play an important part in providing the level of trust that G+D has been valued for by its customers for more than 170 years. ## Your Responsibilities: * Design and maintain the strategies to ensure the highest quality standards across the entire CBDC eco-system * Define and maintain an adequate risk analysis strategy for all components and the solution as a whole * Conceptualize and create the frameworks for functional, performance, security and penetration testing * Architect and build modular and reusable automated testing solutions * Design, plan, execute, monitor and improve testing process and methodologies * Research, evaluate, recommend and employ new test tools and frameworks * Plan and steer testing activities with partners, in the context of non-functional requirements (performance, security) * Engage with customers to understand their requirements and concerns, then derive, design and help implement QA strategies and solutions to address those needs ## ## Your Profile: * Expert in constructing test plans and executing against these plans across functional, regression, unit, system, performance, stress and load testing * Proficient in all steps of the testing pyramid * Experienced with implementing Continuous Integration and build automation systems * Skilled in designing WebService/API testing frameworks * Practised in Source Code Management Tools (git) * Experienced in Mobile testing frameworks and tools (iOS and Android) * Knowledge of security and penetration testing * DevOps testing knowledge and experience $$ We are an equal opportunity employer!
