We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join us and help us transform our Finance Service portfolio toward operational excellence by using forward-thinking financial solutions.
This role is critical in managing key projects and ensuring seamless execution of business transformation initiatives. You will lead complex transformation workstreams or projects that focus on the digitalization, standardization, and automation of accounting processes end-to-end, especially in the areas of Accounts Payable (AP) and General Ledger (GL). You will also play a key role in transition projects that transfer finance activities from business units to Finance Services, ensuring seamless integration and sustainable improvements. You will execute strategic projects with high senior management attention to help to transform end-to-end finance processes groupwide.
You can choose between your first office location in Essen or in Regensburg and will have highest flexibility to work remote.

* At least 7 years of experience in finance transformation, project management, or Shared Services environments; consultancy background in finance transformation is highly beneficial
* Sound experience in leadership of complex project workstreams in an international environment
* You have a proven track record in managing impactful projects with management attention and a high level of commitment and ability to work under pressure
* Experience in leading successful transitions within international organizations
* In-depth knowledge of finance processes, particularly in AP and GL
* Proven expertise in digitalization and automation technologies (Hypatos and Redwood knowledge are valuable assets)
* You have excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with senior management, customers and operational teams to drive change
