# Senior Project Engineer **Lengnau, Switzerland** | **Full time** | **Fully Onsite** **Work Schedule** Standard (Mon-Fri) **Environmental Conditions** Office **Job Description** The state-of-the-art multi-purpose manufacturing facility is crafted for large-scale production of biologics and has high expansion potential. After completion of construction activities, our site in Lengnau will offer highly flexible biomanufacturing technologies, from development to large-scale production including stainless steel equipment to meet our customer needs. Technical Responsibilities * Prepare and review engineering designs, technical drawings, and specifications. * Monitor project progress, resolving technical issues and addressing any deviations from project plans. * Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. * Actively participate in the development and delivery of deliverables with respect to the relevant systems. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and procurement, to ensure project objectives are met. * Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and risk assessments. * Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. * Prepare and present status reports to stakeholders, including clients and senior management. * Identify and implement process improvements for enhanced project efficiency. * Adherence to project procedures/requirements with respect to Health/Safety/Environmental & Quality. * Liaise closely with the relevant vendors/providers/contractors. * Report and aid in the resolution of project issues, including maintaining the punches and a deviations. * Assist in assessing project risk and evaluating the effectiveness of mitigation strategies applied. * Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Education & Experience * Minimum Bachelor's degree or local equivalent in Mechanical, Process or Chemical Engineering. * Bachelor's degree + 3 years experience in the engineering field, preferably in the pharmaceutical, food, or chemical process industry. * Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility. * Experience of multi-cultural work environment. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably German or another European language.
