Anforderungen
- •Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field
- •Minimum 5 years of professional experience in FEM, ideally within consumer product development or soft materials
- •Advanced proficiency in FEA tools such as Abaqus, HyperMesh, Solid Edge; scripting experience (Python, MATLAB) is a plus
- •Strong background in complex FEM analyses: non-linear, transient, fatigue, thermomechanical
- •Familiarity with soft materials like foam, elastomers, plastics, and gels, especially in the context of sleep products
- •Solid understanding of FMEA and related quality and risk assessment methodologies
- •Strong critical thinking skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
- •Excellent analytical skills and a high level of autonomy and initiative
- •Strong communication skills – able to convey technical insights clearly and persuasively
- •Fluent in English; Chinese language skills are a plus, German is beneficial
- •Passionate about innovation, teamwork, and creating outstanding products that improve sleep quality

- •Lead product optimization projects for mattresses, bed frames, and accessories
- •Develop and implement simulation strategies throughout the product lifecycle
- •Introduce new technologies like non-linear material modeling and AI-assisted optimization
- •Create detailed test plans for FEM analysis and model calibration
- •Conduct hands-on technical tests in the in-house lab
- •Analyze product design, material properties, and structural integrity
- •Collaborate with suppliers to ensure clear technical communication
- •Act as a subject matter expert in material properties and 3D CAD design
- •Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence
- •Ensure timely delivery of high-quality results aligned with project goals
