As the Senior Marine & EL Pricing Actuary, you will be an integral part of our Group Pricing Team. You will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining the global pricing tools for Marine and EL, and providing pricing insights and analytics to the respective global lines of business heads to ensure effective portfolio steering.
**What you will do**
* Responsible for the Global Pricing tools for Marine and EL
* Provide pricing insights to the Global Line of Business heads through portfolio deep dives, performance monitoring, and investigation of specific issues
* Deliver key pricing analysis including the development of rates and trend analysis
* Assist in the development of Key Performance Indicators to monitor the strategy on your lines of business
* Identify and assist in addressing data concerns and data quality improvements
* Analyse loss data to identify segments with profitability opportunities and possible refinements
* Collaborate on global and cross-functional team projects
**What you bring**
* Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related area
* 8 + years of experience in the insurance industry
* Fully qualified Actuary
* Familiarity with statistical and predictive modeling techniques including but not limited to decision trees, clustering, and GLMs.
* Prior Commercial Lines pricing experience
* Proficiency in pricing studies: rate indications, trend studies, parameter analysis
* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
* Strong business and collaboration skills, responsive to service needs and operational demands
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Programming skills in R / Python
* Excellent English skills; additional language skills are an advantage
