Original Beschreibung
kp is currently looking for a Senior Pilot Plant Technician at our Site in Gendorf/Germany. This position is based in our Pharma, Health & Durables Division and will report directly to the Manager of Innovation.
**Main Tasks and Responsibilities:**
* Joint responsibility of the iCenter with all environmental and safety-relevant aspects in the handling of raw materials and additives, the machines and testing equipment as well as the working environment in general.
* Ensuring the availability of raw materials, auxiliary materials and operating materials as well as the availability of tools, equipment and machines.
* Independent execution of maintenance, servicing and assembly work
* Self-responsible operation of all individual machines, test equipment and pilot plants available in the area of responsibility
* Preparation and follow-up of tests on the pilot plants in coordination with developers as well as test evaluations and scaling up to production plants
* Independent execution of application and process engineering tests on films and products made from them
* Accompaniment of safety inspections and co-responsible rectification of identified defects
**Who we are looking for:**
You might be a match with a complete apprenticeship as Process mechanic/master craftsman in the field of plastics and rubber or comparable training with appropriate professional experience.
**Requirements of the role:**
* Strong knowledge in the field of calendering and extrusion (focus of this role is extrusion)
* Knowledge of plastics, their application, testing and analysis
* Knowledge of the tools and machines with regard to the theoretical background, the significance of the results, the limits of the method and the influencing and disturbing variables
* Knowledge and professional experience in testing and quality assurance is an advantage.
* Good English skills are essential
