Anforderungen

  • •Qualified accountant (ACA/ACMA/ACCA/CIMA) or similar qualification
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • •In-depth knowledge of IFRS and/or German accounting standards (HGB)
  • •Excellent communication skills in English
  • •Pro-active attitude and team-oriented approach
  • •Questioning and inquisitive mind
  • •Ability to develop and manage relationships across the business
  • •Familiarity with S/4HANA
  • •Experience with SQL

Deine Aufgaben

  • •Oversee the closing process for trading desks
  • •Facilitate month, quarter, and year-end closing procedures
  • •Drive continuous process improvements in accounting
  • •Reconcile performance reporting to IFRS and local standards
  • •Maintain accuracy and compliance in financial reporting
  • •Collaborate with Accounting Principles department on new transactions
  • •Post unrealised derivatives and accruals for realised transactions
  • •Work with the Accounting Data team to enhance data transparency
  • •Support the development of automated accounting processes
  • •Analyse accounting data to identify issues and provide insights
  • •Reconcile and analyse key balance sheet accounts
  • •Prepare commentary on balance sheet analysis
  • •Collaborate with auditors on commodity accounting queries
