We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer (m/f/x) with expertise in JavaScript, Shopify, and backend development. In this role, you’ll lead end-to-end development of our Shopify ecosystem, from frontend themes to custom apps and integrations, ensuring scalability, performance, and seamless user experiences. ##### Your tasks * Design, build, and deploy full-stack Shopify solutions (frontend themes, custom apps, APIs, and backend services). * Architect scalable solutions for Shopify stores, including integrations with third-party systems (Klaviyo CRM system, payment gateways). * Optimize performance across the stack (frontend, Liquid, APIs, databases) and troubleshoot bottlenecks. * Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure feasibility and implement responsive, high-performance interfaces. * Own the entire development lifecycle — from brainstorming to production deployment and monitoring. * Document the custom solutions on Confluence and advocate for best practices in code quality, testing, and security. ##### Your profile * 5+ years of full-stack development (JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs). * 3+ years of Shopify experience, including: * Custom theme development (Liquid, React) * Working with Checkout Extensibility * Building Shopify Apps (using Polaris, Shopify API, Admin extensions) * Backend integrations (Ruby On Rails & RUST) * Strong database skills (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Shopify Data Layer). * Experience with modern stacks: React/Next.js, GraphQL, Docker. * Proven track record of deploying and maintaining scalable Shopify stores. * Fluent in Git and agile workflows. * Excellent communication (English), efficient collaboration, and ability to collaborate across time zones. * Readiness to own the tech stack, make structural decisions, and represent the team in cross-departmental conversations. ##### Benefits * Receive a permanent employment contract * You will be given a high degree of responsibility and decision-making freedom in all positions – contribute your own ideas from day one! * Benefit from regular 360° feedback cycles and development paths * You get the opportunity to work hybrid from home and in our new office in Berlin, with free drinks and snacks and everything else you need * Take part in our team events * Benefit from our company pension scheme * Choose your favourite vouchers (Spotify, UrbanSports, Blinkist, WeShare, Rewe and many more) from our partner "Hrmony" every month * Receive a voucher worth €200 every 2 months to order your favourite products from us to your home * Receive free access to mental health support via our cooperation partner "OpenUp" * We offer the opportunity to work from abroad for up to 3 months per year
