While your primary focus will be on backend development, you will also contribute to the frontend, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. **What You’ll Do:** * Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend services, ensuring high performance and reliability * Contribute to frontend development using modern frameworks to create a seamless user experience * Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, and fellow engineers to understand workflows and requirements within the healthcare sector * Maintain high coding standards through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration * Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges, proactively addressing technical debt * Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our tech stack * Over time, become an expert in healthcare IT standards such as FHIR and DICOM **What You Bring:** * 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend technologies * Expertise in Java-based frameworks like Quarkus (or similar) and microservice architectures * Deep understanding of design patterns, cloud-native principles and software engineering best practices * Proficiency in JPA/Hibernate, relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL), and RESTful APIs * Hands-on experience with Docker and familiarity with Kubernetes. * Strong commitment to software quality, with experience in automated testing (unit, integration) and CI/CD pipelines * Familiarity with frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue * Proficiency with Git, Maven, and Linux * Experience in agile development teams and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset * Fluent in English (written & spoken); German is a plus **Our Tech Stack:** Backend: Java, Quarkus, Microservices, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, REST APIs Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines Tools: Git, Maven, Linux, Jira **What We Offer:** * The opportunity to work on high-impact healthcare projects that make a real difference. * A collaborative and innovative work environment with room for creativity and personal growth. * Flexible working hours and the option to work from home. * State-of-the-art hardware and software for optimal remote work experience. * A supportive team culture where your voice is heard, and your ideas matter. * Opportunities for professional development, including conferences, training, and certifications. * A competitive salary package, with performance-based bonuses and potential overpayment depending on experience.
