## Senior Financial Controller ###### Permanent employee, Full-time ·Zürich --- ##### IN SHORT As a Senior Controller, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance by transforming accounting data into actionable business insights. This position sits at the core of our Controlling and FP&A functions, acting as a strategic business partner for departments. You will support forecasting activities (budgeting and long-term planning), contribute to the development and evaluation of business cases, and perform scenario modelling to support decision-making and identify future opportunities. ##### YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * **Controlling & Analysis:** Analyze historical data, deliver financial insights, and support strategic decisions through scenario modelling. * **Forecasting & Reporting:** Lead planning cycles (budget, forecast, long-term), support monthly- and yearly closings and reporting (e.g. provisions, bad debts, cash flow, cut-off, consolidation etc.), and present actionable management reports. * **Business Partnering:** Act as a financial advisor to business units, providing clear narratives and actionable recommendations. * **Controls & Compliance:** Maintain and further develop internal controls (ICS), ensure compliance, and support audits. * **Project & Cost Control:** Oversee project and cost controlling, and support procurement evaluations. ##### YOUR PROFILE * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field * Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in Controlling, FP&A, or a related role * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial modelling * Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex topics clearly * Proactive, analytical mindset with a high attention to detail * Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics BC/Abacus) and common BI tools (Tableau) * Fluent in German and English * Non-smoker – you don’t smoke during the day and never smell like cigarettes: FELFEL is about healthy living * EU/EFTA or Swiss work permit ##### OUR BENEFITS * Lots of delicious food, just a few steps away from your desk - we make your gastronomic dreams come true * Best barista coffee and tea for the whole team, thanks to our innovative Gavetti coffee machine * 5 weeks holiday per year, as well as two full weeks of ‘work from anywhere’ per year to bring more variety to your work day * We encourage our employees to use public transport by covering your half-fare travelcard * New parents get 16 or 3 weeks, respectively, of fully paid parental leave.
