**Job Title:** Senior Finance Business Partner
**Location(s):** Heidelberg, Berlin, Dordrecht or London
**About the Role**
The Senior Finance Business partner for Europe and Corporate and Specialized Sales is responsible for managing decision support for two sales groups that manage the European institutional sales market, the Corporate markets in Europe and North America and sales of specialized products throughout the world.
This role requires extensive cooperation with the Sales VP for Europe and the Sales VP for Corporate and Specialized sales to provide them decision support and help them run their business.
This role can be in our Heidelberg, Berlin, Dordrecht or London offices on a hybrid working model.
**Role Responsibilities:**
* Provide financial stewardship and governance to the sales units
* Participate in decision making on strategic and day-to-day subjects
* Deliver accurate, insightful and forward-looking reporting timely
* Day-to-day support of the sales teams (Reporting, reviewing and ad hoc analysis).
* Review month-end reports and reconciliations
* Building and presenting budgets, forecasts and yearly strategy for each product line and area.
* Responsibility over the global total products revenues Nature journals and Databases.
* Analysis and commentary on deviations against Budget/Forecast/Prior Year
* Review and proactively accounting impacts on sales and revenues.
* Monitor progress and provide input for investment cases
