* **Portfolio Strategy and Governance**: Craft and sustain the IT project portfolio strategy, ensuring seamless alignment with overarching business goals as well as establish robust governance practices to oversee project prioritization, selection, and execution
* **Project Portfolio Management:** Lead the entire IT project portfolio, ensuring objectives are met while balancing costs, resources, and time-to-market, adapting the portfolio dynamically to respond to evolving business priorities
* **Resource Allocation and Management:** Ensure efficient allocation and management of resources across multiple projects, optimizing utilization and maintaining a balance between operational needs and strategic **initiatives**
* **Performance Monitoring and Reporting:** Vigilantly monitor the IT project portfolio's performance against key performance indicators and metrics while providing comprehensive reports on portfolio status, progress, and financials to IT leadership and stakeholders
* **Risk Management and Mitigation:** Identify and manage portfolio risks, developing strategic mitigation plans to minimize their impact on performance and organizational outcomes.
* **Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:** Foster transparent communication about project priorities, statuses, and potential impacts across the organization as well as engaging with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure project outcomes meet business needs
* **Process Improvement and Best Practices:** Implement and champion best practices in project management and continuous improvement processes. Facilitate the sharing of resources, methodologies, tools, and techniques across project teams.
## Your Profile
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
* Over 5 years of professional experience in project management, with a strong focus on portfolio management and coordinating cross-functional and international project teams.
* Demonstrated ability to create budgets, calculate added value, and manage project finances effectively.
* Excellent resource management skills to optimize utilization and balance operational needs with strategic initiatives
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey project priorities, statuses, and potential impacts clearly and transparently as well as proven ability to engage with stakeholders, gather feedback, and ensure project outcomes meet business needs
* Experience working and implementing agile frameworks and change management processes
* Mastery in influencing and negotiating through advanced communication techniques, fostering strategic relationships, and driving organizational goals
* Demonstrates exceptional motivation and commitment, often inspiring and leading others to achieve high-level goals and excellence
* Mastery in fostering a culture of innovation and leading transformative initiatives
* Continuously seeks new knowledge, stays updated with the latest developments, and often mentors others
* Mastery in making high-stakes decisions that consider long-term impacts and align with strategic goals

Due to legal standards in Austria, we are required to disclose the minimum annual gross salary for the position as defined by the collective agreement, which amounts EUR 59.781,96 € (collective agreement for chemical industry).
