Anforderungen

•Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable field
•In-depth experience with industrial BESS systems and/or power converters
•Well-versed in requirements engineering and test specification development
•Confidence in model-based development tools such as Matlab/Simulink
•Systematic thinking and clarity in approaching complexity
•Demonstrated lateral leadership and sound decision-making
•Strong track record in managing suppliers and technical collaboration
•Effective communication and presentation skills in English

Deine Aufgaben

•Specify system-level requirements for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
•Develop and refine system-level test specifications for BESS
•Integrate BESS power units into the hybrid control power plant
•Lead the qualification process using Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) methods
•Steer external BESS suppliers to ensure alignment with system requirements
•Scout and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to BESS
