# Senior Engineer & Technical Analyst (f/m/x) **Geneva Place des Bergues 3** | **Full time** ## Job Description: You will be part of Avaloq Europe Platform Services team and will regularly work with various stakeholders in the elaboration of functional, technological and engineering requirements and with development and technical teams for their implementation. As Senior Engineer & Technical Analyst you are on the one side responsible for maintaining business applications which are hosted and operated by a third-party vendor. This involves completing several DB internal governance processes to ensure compliance with DB policy. As the applications are hosted by an external company there is much interaction required with the vendor to perform the tasks required for this role. You will also be responsible as IT Application Owner for platform products, ensuring end to end governance, SDLC compliance and tech road map compliance for the application. In addition, you will support the analysis and design of functional, technological and engineering solutions based on technical requirements and processes, as well as on knowledge of existing and future platforms. You have an in-depth knowledge of Avaloq core banking system (ideally also the respective Deutsche Bank customization and connected interfaces) and you can transform this knowledge into functional, technical and engineer solutions that create value for our business. **Responsibilities:** * Service manager for vendor hosted products, active incident management with vendor based on contracts and SLAs * IT Application owner for platform products, ensuring end to end governance, SDLC compliance and tech road map compliance for the application * Perform technical change requests scheduled according to Release Management processes (e.g. firewall opening requests, etc) * Hands-on incident management with vendors based on contracts and SLAs. * Provide Level 3 support for functional issues or questions raised by end-users * Provide Level 3 support for technical infrastructure components (i.e., databases, middleware and user interfaces) * Reviewing functional and technical solution proposals and specifications from Avaloq as a vendor/ other third-party vendors * Hands-on test execution and test support for expert users **Skills:** * Degree in Engineering, Computing or similar. Master recommended. * Strongly familiar with Avaloq Core Platform; Avaloq certification is a plus. * Experience in project management and knowledge about the entire application development life cycle (incl. Agile methodology), incident management, disaster recovery management * Strong communication skills, strong client service skills and client-oriented mind * Ability to identify risks, resolve conflicts and plan tasks * Self-motivated and flexibility to work autonomously coupled with ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organizations including appreciation of different cultures during collaborating and sharing. * Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Experience in JIRA, Confluence and HP ALM will be a plus * English proficiency required **Well-being & Benefits** * **Emotionally and mentally balanced:** We support you in maintaining good mental health.
