Senior Devops Engineer(m/w/x)

## Job Description * **Cloud-Native Automation:** Design, build, and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions on OCI using Terraform + Orchestration tooling, enabling automated, repeatable, and auditable deployments * **Collaboration & Enablement:** Partner with engineering, security, and product teams to enable rapid, secure deployment of services * **Platform Reliability:** Lead implementations which balance rapid feature delivery with system reliability, leveraging Monitoring, Logging, and Alarms * **Continuous Improvement:** Drive platform evolution by evaluating emerging OCI features, modern DevOps tools, and fintech best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and learning * **Security & Compliance:** Integrate DevSecOps practices, embedding financial data security, regulatory compliance (e.g. PCI DSS, SOC 2), and automated governance into CI/CD pipelines ## Qualifications * University degree in Computer Science or related discipline * Significant experience in implementing public cloud infrastructure (at least one: AWS / OCI / Azure) * Advanced skills in IaC (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, or similar), and container orchestration (Kubernetes) * Proficiency in scripting/automation (Typescript, Bash, Go, Python) and experience in observability/monitoring solutions * Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills * A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks * Strong grasp of SRE, GitOps, and platform engineering practices in highly regulated, high-scale environments **It would be a real bonus if you have** * Experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), including core services (Compute, Networking, Object Storage, OKE, IAM, Vault, etc.) * Ansible ## Additional Information We realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices.
