# (Senior) DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) for AI Agent Foundation
**What you’ll do**
*Summary:*
Join our forward-thinking team as a Senior DevOps Engineer (f/m/d), where you can make a significant impact on the development of SAP’s AI agent runtime and agent tools.
*The Role:*
* Manage Kubernetes-based cloud landscapes (Kyma, Unified Runtime Charts) on Linux, integrating BTP Service Operator, Istio, and Helm.
* Implement and maintain observability tooling for cloud-usage and cost-analysis reporting.
* Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
* Configure deployment landscapes, orbits, and stages, and manage tenant lifecycles through Euporie jobs based on the Deploy with Confidence framework.
* Administer identity and access management.
* Support the development team building CAP TypeScript applications on SAP BTP and assist in setting up, migrating, and offboarding technical and real tenants utilizing Service Brokers, Service Manager APIs, general BTP Subscription Flows, and SAP HANA Cloud deployments through HANA Deployment Infrastructure (HDI).
* Contribute to infrastructure automation by applying infrastructure-as-code practices.
**What you bring:**
* At least three years of experience in DevOps or cloud operations.

* An excellent university degree in computer science or a related field.
* Proficiency with Kubernetes, Kyma, Istio, Helm, and the BTP Service Operator.
* Practical experience implementing monitoring, tracing, and logging solutions (e.g. Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, OpenSearch).
* Solid knowledge of CI/CD automation, Jenkins, Project Piper, Cloud Native Buildpacks, and Artifact Repositories.
* Experience with identity and role management in cloud environments (e.g. IAS, CAM Profiles).
* Knowledge of the Deploy with Confidence concepts and framework is beneficial.
* Working understanding of SAP BTP services is beneficial, especially Service Manager and Subscription Manager, tenant lifecycle management, and SAP HANA Cloud deployments.
* Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts; knowledge of Cloud Orchestrator or Terraform is advantageous.
* Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.
* Very good communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
