Senior Demand Planner

Germany - Dusseldorf Erkrath | Full time

Position: Senior Demand Planner

Location: Erkrath, Germany

Summary:

Currently we are looking for a senior demand Planner to join our Central Europe Team in Germany and report to the Demand Planning Manager. Our demand planners are key drivers of our S&OP process. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing our demand forecast for a specific group of countries in close collaboration with our sales, marketing, and finance teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze past/future demand inputs

  • Prepare short-term and long-term product demand forecast for all our consumer brands categories and channels using statistical forecasting methods, based on marketing and customer assumptions

  • Measure, report, and proactively correct forecast accuracy

  • Collaborate with various cross-functional partners in projects such as NPD, discontinuations, and, process improvements

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of Supply Chain or Demand Planning experience is required

  • Experience and concrete knowledge working in the FMCG industry is a plus

  • Demonstrated proficiency in statistics and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

  • Preferably with experience in SAP

  • Fluent in English
