Senior Data Expert for Energy Markets(m/w/x)

In this role, you will lead the development of impactful data-driven and AI solutions while collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include mentoring colleagues, facilitating workshops, and driving the green transition through innovative technology.

Anforderungen

• •Degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical field
• •Several years of experience as a Data Scientist with hands-on development of end-to-end AI/ML solutions
• •Professional experience in energy trading or related activities with understanding of physical and financial energy trading
• •Strong coding skills in Python
• •Expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLlib, Azure ML)
• •Practical experience building scalable pipelines in cloud environments, especially in Azure with focus on MLOps practices
• •Proficiency in modern software development practices (version control (Git), CI/CD, monitoring, testing, and automation)
• •Excellent communication and consulting skills, able to translate complex data topics into clear business value
• •Fluent in German and English
