## Job Description
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Design and implement robust, scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform telemetry data from ESLs and EdgeSense devices.
* Build and evolve data models and workflows to support analytics and reporting.
* Develop and maintain data processing components with a focus on Snowflake Data Cloud.
* Collaborate with analysts to ensure high-quality, accessible telemetry datasets.
* Contribute to the design of a modern, flexible data architecture, encouraging innovation and adoption of best-fit tools and technologies.
* Take part in defining and enforcing data quality, observability, and governance practices.
* Lead and mentor on engineering best practices, including testing, documentation, CI/CD, and data reliability engineering.
## Qualifications
**Skills/Abilities:**
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
* Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or another scripting language for data processing and automation.
* Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and distributed data processing.
* Good communication and collaboration skills.
* Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud (data modeling, optimization, security, and performance tuning).
* Experience working with telemetry data from devices, sensors, or other field-based systems.
* Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and related services.
* Experience with Microsoft Fabric.

For the advertised position, the collective agreement (KV) minimum base salary is €3,843.00 gross per month, with a willingness to pay above the KV depending on actual qualifications (for full-time employment).
