**Lead with Precision in Control Software Engineering**
* As a Senior Controls Software Engineer (m/f/d), you will deliver the product solution, fully tested, commissioned and documented for our customers. You have the opportunity to work hybrid from our modern office in Dortmund as well as from your home office.
* In your role, you will be responsible for the software engineering of control systems of fully automated warehouse management systems.
* In addition, the specification, design, coding, and testing of the control software will be part of your tasks.
* You will also build and maintain relationships with our customers (both internally and externally).
* You are responsible for ensuring that the requirements are properly coordinated and that the specifications are created accordingly.
* To round it off you will support your colleagues and customers in second and third-level support.

## What you need to succeed
* You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering/automation technology as a bachelor's, master's, technician (or comparable).
* Be able to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings
* You have already gained practical experience in electrical/control technology and electrical installation.
* In addition, you have experience in object-oriented programming and can apply it skillfully. You are also able to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams.
* Your profile also includes excellent knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets. As well as in-depth knowledge of PLC's, such as Siemens S7.
* Knowledge of Industrial Ethernet and modern fieldbuses (EtherCAT, PROFINET, PROFIBUS, AS-i), AC drives and design experience of HMI systems is an advantage
* To round it off, you communicate fluently in English
