As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will drive the adoption of telemetry solutions and empower product teams through training and best practices. This role involves implementing technical integrations, developing onboarding strategies, and designing innovative solutions to enhance observability.

Anforderungen

  • •Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • •Strong service orientation and communication and collaboration abilities
  • •Practical experience and advanced knowledge in application instrumentation, monitoring and observability solutions using OpenTelemetry
  • •Experience using telemetry pipeline tools, like Cribl
  • •Experience developing and running cloud-native software and infrastructure using OpenTofu/Terraform, JavaScript and GitOps tooling
  • •Strong understanding of IT operations and DevOps

Deine Aufgaben

  • •Implement technical telemetry integrations using OpenTelemetry and Pipeline technology
  • •Develop an adoption strategy and plan for onboarding activities, including deployment phases and timelines
  • •Drive execution of the onboarding strategy
  • •Share best practices and run training sessions for product teams on telemetry instrumentation
  • •Act as a coach for telemetry-related questions
  • •Create and improve training and enablement materials
  • •Facilitate training sessions for users
  • •Build self-service capabilities for consumer onboarding of use cases
  • •Serve as an evangelist for Observability and OpenTelemetry within the group-wide community
  • •Design and implement a microsegmentation solution using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and languages like Python and Go
