# Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

In this role, you will be reporting to our Cloud Solutions Manager.
**Here are some of the exciting tasks awaiting you:**
* Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
* Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
* Automate deployments, operations, and monitoring to reduce manual work and improve consistency.
* Enhance CI/CD pipelines to support faster, more reliable software releases.
* Provide Level 3 operational support for critical applications, helping troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents.
* Monitor application and infrastructure health, ensuring visibility and quick response to issues.
* Coordinate infrastructure maintenance and upgrades with minimal disruption.
* Document processes, incidents, and recurring issues in a shared knowledge base.
* Work closely with engineering, support, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth delivery and operations.
* Contribute to improving support processes, automating repetitive tasks, and streamlining incident handling.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews) and keep work items up to date in Jira.
* Stay informed on new technologies and best practices in cloud, DevOps, and application operations.
**A mix of the following is the person we are looking for:**
* 5+ years of experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS environments.
* Strong background in Linux and/or Windows server administration.
* Experience with automation and configuration tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
* Proficient with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
* Solid understanding of application architecture, APIs (including event-driven systems), and cloud-native design.
* Hands-on experience with Datadog, Newrelic or similar monitoring/alerting tools.
* Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, and incident management workflows.
* Experience with SQL Server or general database knowledge is a plus.
* Proven skills in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
* Good understanding of security best practices and cloud networking principles.
* Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
* Experience working in Agile/DevOps teams.
