As our successful Senior Buyer, Raw Materials in ANH, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of sourcing strategies and value generation for your assigned portfolio of raw materials - in close collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
Your geographic scope is pre-dominantly regional, with some global suppliers, while majority of internal stakeholders and consuming sites are in Europe.
You will be responsible for raw materials for sites in Switzerland, Germany and France.
**Your key responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories, in collaboration with key internal stakeholders
* Ensure security of supply at competitive commercial conditions
* Own and track the spend for the assigned categories and define / implement cost reduction initiatives
* Work out, implement and track contractual agreements
* Take end-to-end responsibility for assigned category
* Oversee and manage procurement planning and execution (in close alignment with local procurement teams)
* Track relevant markets, incl. macro-economic and geo-political influences, supply-demand situation, regulation
* Align plans, strategies and projects with and provide transparency on market dynamics and price development to key internal stakeholders
* Manage and develop key suppliers
* Identify and drive utilization of cross-site/ region/ category synergies
* Lead/ actively participate in cross-functional projects
* Maintaining a close connection with and relationship management of respective supplier bases
* Collaboration with production sites, incl. Local Procurement Managers, Plant Managers, Quality Managers
* Regular communication/ collaboration with other functions, incl. Product Management, Supply Chain and Finance
* Reporting for Management (Procurement/ Business Management, Sr. Leadership)

**You bring:**
* University qualification, preferably in business administration/ commerce, chemistry, engineering or a relevant discipline.
* Recognized qualification in Procurement and/ or 2yrs+ Procurement experience, ideally in the chemical industry. Experience with chemical markets (especially Europe) is of advantage.
* Recognized qualification / experience and skills in Project Management would be an advantage.
* Experience working in an international matrix organization.
