## Senior Accountant ###### Permanent employee, Full-time ·Munich,Berlin --- ##### Your mission We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to support our finance team. The ideal candidate is passionate about accounting and finance and is excited to join a dynamic and growing start-up company. In this role, you will also be asked to use your problem-solving skills to push continuous process improvement and to take initiative. **This includes:** * Handling the day-to-day accounting functions of the company * Preparing the financial reporting in compliance with GAAP/IFRS * Performing various general accounting processes and handle activities surrounding the monthly closing * Working closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis team so they can prepare and manage budgets and forecasts * Generating financial reports for senior management * Actively collaborating with external stakeholders, including tax advisors and auditors, to ensure compliance with regulations and facilitate efficient financial management * Developing, evolving and implementing new processes to eliminate manual work ##### What you bring on the table * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is a plus * 5+ years of accounting experience * Good knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and financial reporting requirements * Experience managing budgets and financial forecasts * Familiarity with tax compliance requirements in an international environment * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills * Experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment is a plus * Experience with ERP-systems – nice to have * Fluency in English and German ##### Why you should join us We are an international team of space enthusiasts, following one great vision.
