# Scientist in the field of bioinformatics
**What you will do**
• Develop and implement methods for analysing genomic, proteomic and metabolomic datasets
• Collaborate with other researchers and industry partners to manage and interpret big data
• Write research papers based on bioinformatics analyses and present results at conferences
• Apply for external funding to support ongoing research
**What you bring to the table**
We are looking for a motivated, dedicated individual who wants to work in a creative and open research environment and welcome the following qualifications:
• A Master’s degree in bioinformatics or a related subject in the life, natural or computational sciences
• A PhD or equivalent in bioinformatics, computational biology or molecular biology
• Practical experience with programming, machine learning, statistical analyses of big data and bioinformatics tools and software
• Very good communication and organisational skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Very good written and spoken English
• Good track record of scientific publications and research funding
