- •Completed university degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Communications (Network), or equivalent qualification
- •More than 5 years of professional experience in relevant fields
- •Knowledge and practical experience in processes and standards of the space industry (e.g., ECSS, CCSDS)
- •Experience in systems engineering and corresponding methods and tools
- •Interest and ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new technologies
- •Experience working on classified projects (an advantage)
- •Experience in managing technical stakeholders (an advantage)
- •Good communication and presentation skills
- •Team-oriented work style
- •Fluent in German and English
- •French language skills (a plus)

- •Define architecture for satellite control and monitoring
- •Specify and integrate hardware and software components
- •Configure mission control components
- •Analyze requirements and define architecture for ground segments
- •Evaluate design trade-offs and manage interfaces
- •Create interface documents (ICD)
- •Specify hardware and software elements and redundancy concepts
- •Support the definition of ground segment operating concepts
- •Train satellite operators
- •Estimate costs for ground segment development and operation
- •Assist in system development, assembly, integration, and verification
- •Contribute to proposals, studies, and research activities
- •Manage procurement of software components
- •Collaborate with Space Segment Engineering, Performance Engineering, and Operations Engineering
