**In this role, you’ll:**
* Develop and implement PHP modules and web services to automate SAP transport management tasks, integrated with a Perl-based backend.
* Collaborate with SAP operators to gather requirements and deliver automation solutions and enhancements based on real operational needs.
* Monitor SAP transport jobs and hardware resources by analyzing large-scale log data and building dashboards using Grafana.
* Support mass deployments and timely SAP product delivery across multiple landscapes of approximately 4000 SAP systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to transport processes, system resources, and automation workflows.
* Document technical solutions and create user guides for tools developed, ensuring clear knowledge transfer.
* Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability within the SAP transport management team.
**Who you are:**
You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (must-have).
* Interest in backend development and automation within large-scale enterprise IT environments (must-have).
* Willingness to learn and work with both PHP and Perl programming languages (must-have).
* Experience with PHP and Perl (must-have; academic or personal projects accepted).
* Familiarity with web service/API development (nice-to-have).
* Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana) or log file analysis (nice-to-have)
* Good written and spoken English and **German** (must-have)
* Residence in Germany (must-have).
* Living close to Sankt Leon-Rot area (on site Office days require)
