Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer(m/w/x)

## THE ROLE We are looking for a highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer with experience in Solution Architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing marketing automation solutions within Marketing Cloud as well as designing and architecting scalable solutions across multiple platforms. Proficiency in SQL and the ability to build APIs between clouds and platforms are essential. ## YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW * Develop and implement marketing automation solutions: Design, develop and implement integrated marketing automation solutions using Marketing Cloud ensuring seamless integration with external systems and APIs. * Solution architecture: Provide overall architecture and design for Salesforce implementations, mapping business requirements to technical capabilities and determining when custom solutions are necessary. * API Development: Build and maintain APIs to connect SF Marketing Cloud with other Salesforce clouds, external databases, and marketing tools, ensuring efficient data exchange and workflow automation. * SQL and data management: Write complex SQL queries to manage and analyze data within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring data integrity and optimizing campaign performance. * Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with overall program design decisions and architecture. * Technical leadership: Collaborate with technical architects to refine high-level solution designs and provide technical leadership in solution development. * Data integration and governance: Define and implement data integration strategies for importing and exporting data into/out of Marketing Cloud, maintaining data governance standards. * Stay updated with industry trends. Keep abreast of the latest Salesforce Features, releases and trends in Digital Marketing and Email Automation. ## HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE * 5+ years work experience within an E-Commerce or direct-to-consumer company, or an agency * 5+ years hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud development and implementation, with at least 2 years of experience in Solution Architecture * 2+ years experience with Service Cloud * Demonstrable knowledge in SQL, AMPScript and experience with complex query writing * Experience in building APIs between Salesforce clouds and external platforms * Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, AMPscript * Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM systems and sales and marketing processes * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Strong written and verbal communication, project management and collaboration skills * Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Salesforce Marketing/Service Cloud certifications (e.g. MC Consultant) * Knowledge of eCommerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud * High motivation to learn and grow within the organization * Fluent in English - Verbal and Written
