In this role, you will focus on building strong relationships with life science customers while expanding the install base. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve prospecting for new business, managing accounts, and resolving customer needs, all while traveling within the DACH region.

Anforderungen

  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Experience with analytical instruments in pharmaceutical or life sciences
  • Knowledge of microbiology in Life Sciences market
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-focused skills
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial applications for product lines and markets
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or Life Sciences
  • 3 years or more capital equipment sales work experience
  • 60% travel involved
  • Knowledge of Microbiology in Life Sciences market (Endotoxins or Biobuden, will be an advantage)

  • Develop strong partnerships with life science customers
  • Expand the install base and generate new sales opportunities
  • Prospect for new customers and business
  • Grow and maintain the existing customer portfolio
  • Qualify new leads to support a balanced sales funnel
  • Generate new business through existing and potential customer networks
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts for long-term success
  • Build positive relationships with clients
  • Act as the point of contact for customer needs
  • Resolve conflicts and provide timely solutions
  • Report on account status and transactions
  • Set and track sales account targets aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor sales metrics, including quarterly results and annual forecasts
  • Attend company-sponsored trade shows and regional conferences
  • Understand competitors' products and sales distribution
  • Travel to customer sites for business development and equipment demos
  • Assist in the sale of aftermarket products
