Original Beschreibung
**Your mission:**
* Work closely with organizational leadership to align safety initiatives with overall business goals and objectives that everybody come back home healthy.
* Strive to run a business without fatalities and life-altering injuries or occupational diseases
* Provide strategic direction and support to regional and plant Safety, Health and Environmental related activities to ensure compliance with local, governmental, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and Mondi regulations, supporting the Business Segment (BS) SHE Manager where required.
* Coordinate, participate and present SHE topics, including different initiatives, activities, threats etc. with Regional MD & BS SHE Manager, while collaborating with the SHE networks and working groups throughout.
* Support the plants with risk assessments, contractor safety management, management of change, standardizing processes and exchange of good practices.
* Focus on people, engagement, learning, identifying risks, implementing appropriate risk controls and measuring control effectiveness regularly
* Provide continuous training and coaching to develop the safety culture in line with Mondi’s Social Psychology of Risk approach during site visits.
* Conduct regular visits to plants in the region while covering audits, status visits, incident investigation, trainings such as initiation of new plant SHE Coordinators and MDs, coaching, etc.
* Support the plants in environmental topics, such as reporting, auditing, data accuracy and incident investigation.
* Challenge and advise the management to achieve the Mondi Safety & Health and Environmental indicators.
* Be contact person with local authorities regarding SHE activities.
* Be functional manager to local SHE coordinators of plants.
* Develop and review Mondi standards, like Practice Notes, CBUM’s & supporting documents.
**Your profile:**
* You have 10+ years of experience in a SHE function within a manufacturing environment and 5+ years in a leadership role.
* You bring proven experience in managing SHE functions across multiple plants or sites.
* You are fluent in English and German and possess strong interpersonal and multicultural skills, enabling you to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
* You have a deep understanding of local SHE regulations and standards such as ISO 45001, 14001, and 50001.
* You demonstrate an effective, adaptive, and transparent communication style, fostering collaboration and a strong safety culture.
* You hold a relevant university degree (or equivalent) and combine business acumen with human-centric leadership.
* A NEBOSH General Certificate, a qualification in sustainable development risk management, or additional foreign language skills relevant to the region would be a plus.
* You have a natural passion for sustainability, an intrinsic safety mindset, and a joy for managing and developing people.
* Your analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach allow you to confidently interact with stakeholders at all levels, empowering teams and driving results.
* You are willing to travel regularly within Germany, the Netherlands, and across Europe.
