Anforderungen

•Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering or related field
•3–5 years of professional experience within the chemical industry
•Certified Safety Officer (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit gemäß ASiG)
•Expertise in Occupational Safety and strong networking abilities
•Proficiency in German and English
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Strong interpersonal skills and understanding of human behavior
•Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
•Proven ability to enhance HSE processes and improve HSE tools
•Experience collaborating within interdisciplinary teams
•Strong networking capabilities
•Open, transparent, and effective communication style

Deine Aufgaben

•Serve as the Designated Safety Officer in accordance with ASiG
•Provide expert safety consultancy to Operations, Maintenance, and other functions
•Act as Site Process Owner for Operational Excellence standards related to occupational safety
•Coordinate communication with the Employer’s Liability Insurance Association
•Conduct Health Risk Assessments
•Develop and implement strategies to improve HSE performance
•Monitor performance using appropriate frameworks, metrics, and indicators
•Perform incident investigations related to occupational safety and process safety
•Participate in the Learning from Experience Council to review incidents and draft corrective measures
•Conduct additional risk analyses beyond the existing work permit system
•Collaborate in safety-related task forces and committees at the LYB Münchsmünster site
•Serve as a member of the Site Emergency Management Team
