Maxion Division: Maxion Wheels Date: May 19, 2025 Location: Königswinter, DE Requisition ID: 9305 # Safety and Sustainability Manager For our **HSE** department in the plant Königswinter (Cologne/Bonn/Koblenz area), Germany, we are looking for: **Safety and Sustainability Manager (m/f/d)** **Your Future Role** **Responsible for managing the Safety and Sustainability function in the Maxion Wheels plant in Königswinter and the Berlin office to maintain and develop a safety and sustainability culture and ensure all corporate initiatives and standards are implemented and the applicable local regulations are followed:** • Lead and develop the Königswinter Safety Team • Support plant safety and environmental compliance per regulations • Ensure implementation of corporate safety and sustainability standards • Ensure implementation of corporate loss prevention standards • Develop safety programs, policies & procedures & oversee implementation in with the Company Strategies • Ensure the involvement of Management and Supervisors into the topics of Safety and Sustainability • Implement natural teams and programs for constant process improvement in the area. • Oversee & support the ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and ISO 45001 Management System • Conduct safety & environmental training / lead & support workshops, track all plant training for compliance requirements • Review accident reports and action plans to correct risk situations. • Act as the main contact with the government agencies including interaction • Develop & manage within a budget for safety & environmental functions • Oversee the collection and dispersing of data reporting for safety and sustainability (including proactive indicators) • Oversee and manage the Safety and Sustainability Performance of the plant **Your profile** * Education Level:  Bachelor Degree * Education Program: Safety, Environment or other related area * Professional Registrations and Certifications: Certified Safety Professional in Germany (SIFA) * 5 years progressive HSE experience in plant level positions * Experience in leading and supporting projects * Manufacturing environment experience * Country and local Safety law * Safety and Sustainability law and regulations * ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 knowledge * Good communication skills to all layers of the company * Change management skills * Language Requirements: German; English **Our offer** *Hard facts* * Attractive salary for a 40-hour week and 30 days' vacation.
