Anforderungen
- •Degree in Space Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar
- •Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience
- •Strong background in thermal conditions inside rocket engines
- •Profound understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat conduction, heat transfer, and radiation
- •Profound understanding of cooling channel design
- •Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and teamwork skills
- •Proficiency in both German and English

- •Perform thermal design and analysis of rocket engines
- •Set up 0D/1D simulations for steady state and transient conditions
- •Determine thermal loads from hot gas in the combustion chamber
- •Design and assess cooling concepts like regenerative and film cooling
- •Analyze heat transfer in combustion chambers and cooling structures
- •Define thermal boundary conditions and load cases
- •Identify thermal risks and propose design optimizations
- •Correlate analytical results with test data for design updates
- •Document models, assumptions, results, and design decisions
- •Collaborate with design, systems, CFD, test, and manufacturing teams
