Anforderungen

•Master’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Sciences or similar)
•5 years of professional experience in public and funded research projects
•Experience in project management of funded research projects
•Experience in leading research teams and supervising students
•Experience in mentoring and teaching technical knowledge to colleagues
•Knowledge of a programming language (e.g. Python) and Microsoft applications
•High analytical skills in solving complex problems
•Structured and result-oriented working style with awareness for costs, time planning, and quality
•Ability to work in a team with internal/external and interdisciplinary teams
•Business fluent in German and English
•Experience in the manufacturing sector, design for manufacturing, especially in Electronics or Automotive
•Experience in Six Sigma (Black Belt), data science, simulation, and/or AI/ML applications
•Experience in publishing research results and presenting for an international audience
•Willingness to travel within Germany & internationally on demand (around 10-20%)

•Communicate with potential partners and prepare proposals
•Manage the proposal process independently
•Coordinate with team members and external research partners
•Solve complex research and technical problems
•Interact with internal resources for public funded projects
•Handle research-oriented work packages
•Report and present project status to management and stakeholders
•Evaluate projects for knowledge gain and economic value
•Implement projects in line with Automotive HARMAN strategy
•Track project progress and identify further potentials
•Establish a network with research institutes and universities
•Scout technology trends and assess their readiness
•Collaborate with global teams to enhance research synergies
•Plan technology events to present research results
•Improve and streamline workflows within the team
