City: Itzehoe Date: Mar 26, 2025 # Research Associate - Component Development Of Ferroelectric Information Storage The scientific focus of this position is on the integration of novel functional thin films (ferroelectric nitride) in digital and analog information storage devices. These have the potential to be significantly more energy-efficient and robust than conventional information storage devices - and are therefore predestined for use in particularly challenging environments such as outer space or the Earth's interior. The work includes the conception of these components, their design, their production in Fraunhofer ISIT's clean room as well as the final electrical characterization - together with national and international research partners.
