We are looking for a highly motivated intern to support our team the development of next-generation Surge Arresters for GIS and AIS applications. **How you'll make an impact** * Contributing to current R&D projects focusing on electrical design and testing of GIS and AIS surge arresters * Developing and proposing new surge arrester designs applying knowledge of dielectric materials and high voltage techniques * Preparing and running design calculations using FEM software * Contributing to design validation by performing development tests together with our HV lab * Evaluating and documenting findings and presenting test results to the team **Your background** * Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (official enrollment is essential) * Experience in FEM simulation tools * Previous experience in high voltage engineering is a plus * Enthusiastic, self-motivated mindset and ability to work independently * Highly conscientious individual with keen sense of responsibility * Fluent command of English, both written and spoken (German language is a plus)
