As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and improve quality control processes, drive continuous improvement, and maintain compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. **What to expect:** * Develop, implement, and maintain **Quality Management Systems (QMS)** (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001) * Conduct root cause analysis and implement **corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)** * Utilize **8D methodology** for problem-solving and customer complaint management * Apply **Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)** to assess potential risks in product and process design * Lead **Statistical Process Control (SPC)** and **Measurement System Analysis (MSA)** to monitor and improve process performance * Conduct and support internal and external **audits** (e.g., VDA 6.3, supplier audits, customer audits) * Ensure compliance with **Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)** and **Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)** * Collaborate with suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards and drive supplier quality improvements * Analyze and report key quality metrics, including **PPM (Parts per Million), First Pass Yield (FPY), and Defect Rate** * Lead and participate in **continuous improvement (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma) initiatives** * Support product launch activities and drive quality assurance in new product development What you bring along: * Bachelor’s degree in **Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)** * **3+ years** of experience in **quality engineering** within the automotive industry * Strong knowledge of **automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3)** * Experience with **APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D methodologies** * Proficiency in **problem-solving tools** such as 5-Why, Ishikawa (Fishbone), and PDCA * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders * Experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers is a plus * Proficiency in **quality-related software and tools** (e.g., Minitab, SAP, QMS software) * Certification in **Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)** is an advantage * Fluent in **English**; additional language skills (e.g., German) What we offer: * Responsible Tasks | * Old-age pension scheme | * Team-oriented work | * Holiday pay and christmas bonuses | * Unlimited employment contract | * 30 days vacation |
