Quality Assurance Engineer(m/w/x)

## Job Description In Scalable’s growing product development entity for justETF, we are looking for new QA engineer for testing the justETF products. justETF is the leading information portal for investors in exchange-traded index funds (ETFs) in Europe. It has over eight million page views and over 700,000 unique users per month - and the trend is rising. justETF is the online guide for self-decision-makers: a professional ETF search, numerous sample portfolios, a strategy planner and investment guides make the hearts of do-it-yourself investors' hearts beat faster. In addition to Germany, the company is also present in other European markets such as Switzerland, Austria, Italy and the UK. Key responsibilities * Work as an engineer in an agile team with highly ambitious and skilled colleagues in our growing data department * Work closely together with product owners, software engineers, other QA engineers as well as other engineering teams * Bring products to production and reveal real business value * Work with cutting edge technologies and be part of modern software development practices (e.g. agile teams, test automation, cloud-based infrastructure and tooling). * Write test cases based on Xray * Develop test automations for web, app and APIs with well-documented code * Perform manual tests ## Qualifications * University degree in computer science, engineering, natural science, mathematics or similar field and 2+ years of experience as a QA * Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript and SQL * Skills in using Jira, Confluence and Git based development tools * Experience with Xcode, Android Studio, Firebase * Experience with REST API testing (e.g. Postman, Swagger) * Performing smoke and regression testing for web and mobile applications * Ability to create clear and thorough test documentation (test cases, test design, checklists, bug reports, etc.) * Experience with both manual and automated testing * Knowledge in developing test automations for mobile apps, websites and APIs based on Appium, Playwright and Cypress, or comparable tools * Experience working in an engineering team * Interest in data-driven business applications * Good communication skills that are clear, open and concise, professional proficiency in English * Interest in FinTech industry ## Additional Information * Be part of one of the fastest-growing and most visible Fintech startups in Europe, creating innovative services that have a substantial impact on the lives of our customers * Work with an international, diverse, inclusive, and ever-growing team that loves creating the best products for our clients * Work from our centrally located offices in the heart of Munich or Berlin, nestled in lively neighborhoods filled with vibrant restaurants, cozy cafés, and a wide range of convenient amenities or choose to work remotely within Germany (if eligible for the job) * Be productive with the latest hardware and tools * Learn and grow by joining our in-house knowledge sharing sessions and spending your individual Education Budget * Learn and experience German culture first hand by joining our free German language classes * (International) relocation support * Flexible vacation policy and the opportunity to work from abroad * Benefit from an attractive compensation package and from the company pension scheme * Monthly contribution of 25% for the ‘Deutschland Jobticket’ * Say goodbye to order commissions and say hello to your complimentary subscription of Scalable Capital's PRIME+ Broker
