If your answers are YES and you love to work as hard as you play - this might be the perfect role for you! **Your Responsibilities** As a Quality Assurance Engineer in our international Technology team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and usability of our products. You will work closely with developers and product managers across time zones, focusing on backend-heavy applications and user-facing tools. Your primary focus will be manual testing, especially across APIs and complex service integrations. Your contributions will directly support timely, high-quality releases in a fast-paced agile environment. You will report to Technology/QA lead based in Manila, Philippines. Specifically, you will: * Plan, design, and execute manual test cases for backend services (REST/GraphQL APIs) and frontend interfaces (React/Next.js). * Analyze acceptance criteria and business logic to uncover edge cases, data inconsistencies, or integration risks. * Perform various test types, including functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing. * Validate system behavior across multiple microservices and ensure changes in one area do not break others. * Proactively raise usability concerns, unclear requirements, or inconsistent functionality during sprint development. * Collaborate with distributed team members via Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and other async communication tools. * Contribute to the ongoing improvement of QA practices, regression suites, and test planning processes. * Optionally support the execution or maintenance of existing automated test scripts (you won’t own automation, but collaboration is welcome). ## Qualifications **You Offer** * 2+ years of hands-on experience in manual software testing, ideally in agile, cross-functional teams. * Strong understanding of backend testing, with experience validating REST and/or GraphQL APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger and basic knowledge of SQL. * Ability to read and understand business logic, identify edge cases, and proactively clarify vague or incomplete requirements. * Comfortable working across multiple microservices, with attention to integration points and system-wide impact. * A structured, self-organized approach to managing testing scope and communicating progress or blockers to the team. * Familiarity with frontend testing concepts (React/Next.js-based UIs) and understanding of what to test on the client vs. backend. * Willingness to maintain or support basic automation scripts when needed (automation ownership is not expected). * Experience working in international teams and confidence in async collaboration using tools like Jira, Microsoft Teams, and Confluence. * A mindset focused on quality, pragmatism, and accountability — you care not just that it works, but that it makes sense. * Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. ## Additional Information **Please note that we will only consider candidates with a valid work permit.**
