## QA Engineer (m/f/d) - remote based in Germany ###### Permanent employee, Full-time ·Mannheim,Remote --- ##### Your mission We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our cross-functional development team. You will work in an agile team with latest technologies to build modern, scalable and high-quality solutions for our customers. Our team has an end-to-end responsibility for the product, including design and architecture, writing code with high standards, hosting the services in the Azure cloud, and guaranteeing service reliability and security. There is plenty of space for your own ideas to provide the best user experience. * Be part of a cross-functional DevOps team with end-to-end responsibility along the complete product lifecycle * Ensure the quality of our innovative logistics platform * Test web applications as well as APIs * Perform manual testing and verification of user stories * Write and execute automated E2E tests using Cypress * Create and extend test plans and test cases * Evaluate the readiness to ship throughout the software development lifecycle * Assess user experience and usability of our platform * Coordinate release management activities * Identify appropriate tooling and processes to support and improve testing * Collaboratively work with the product owner and software engineers ##### Your profile * Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, or a related field * Experience as a QA engineer, or similar role * Hands-on experience with software testing and quality assurance of web applications, cloud solutions and REST APIs * Experience with creating and maintaining test plans and test cases * Experience with identifying and reporting bugs * Experience with test automation, ideally with Cypress * Good understanding of an intuitive user interface * Good eye for details and commitment to quality * User-focus and the ability to see things through the eyes of our users * Self-organization, team collaboration, creativity, agile mindset, positive attitude, and high motivation * Very good communication skills in English * **Remote work - based in Germany** Passion for our idea, commitment, and high motivation for continuous learning is essential in this role. ##### Why us? * Exciting challenges in a dynamic startup environment * A highly motivated and open-minded team with a great team spirit * Become part of a young company and work in an agile and fast-paced startup environment * Plenty of space for your own ideas * Flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes * Work with latest tools and technologies * Regular team events * Remote work within Germany and up to 60 days per year from other EU countries * Paid days of vacation on 24th and 31st of December * Competitive compensation package
