# Pursuit Manager (m/f/d) **Karlsbad - Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany** **About the Role** As Pursuit Manager you will be responsible for growing CAM VW business to meet customer specific booking targets. You will engage with the customer in an early stage to create business opportunities and drive these opportunities with healthy commercials to award. **What You Will Do** * Execute the pursuit strategy for new business opportunities in alignment with the customer account strategy. * Identify and create new pursuits and drive early engagement activities including “war gaming” and 10 standards * Own RFI/RFQ response for new business opportunities and be responsible for the quote as well as for commercial sourcing negotiations with the customer * Create game-changing unique selling proposition and value statements * Understand customer expectations (cost, requirements, timing) and define internal targets to meet them * Identify key stakeholders and decision makers and develop strategies to win new business **What You Need** * Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering * 3-5 years of working experience with at least 3 years in Automotive * Experience or strong affinity with harman portfolio (Intelligent Cockpit, Connectivity, Car Audio) across HW and SW domains * Thorough understanding of P&L statements, business cases and quotes * Strong hunting, influence and negotiation skills * Fluent German is a pre-requisite **What is Nice to Have** * Basic technical understanding of Automotive HW and SW systems * Understanding of Automotive OEM’s organization and processes * Experience within or working with VW group brands **What Makes You Eligible** * Be willing to travel up to 25%, domestic and international travel **What We offer:** * HARMAN offers a diverse and inclusive work environment that fosters and encourages career development opportunities, professional training and competitive market base compensation.
